Beautiful Tuscany

We had a wonderful week at the beautiful Casa Kennedy. The location and views are dreamy, with a stunning panorama across the mountains and valley from the back of the house. One of our favourite sitting spots was the balcony, that overlooks the valley. We could sit there all day watching the wildlife and changing sky! The house is lovingly restored and contains many thoughtful touches that made our stay more comfortable and luxurious. We particularly loved the large kitchen-dining room space, which is extremely well equipped for proper large-scale cooking and entertaining, complete with a glass floor window into the well below. Crockery and glasses are plentiful, meaning no washing-up in between dishwasher runs. The house also has a wonderful flow to it, with many spaces for different age groups to be. Our teenager and younger son loved the games room, and we all enjoyed having the pool to dip into and lounge around, soaking up the views, or eating outside, when not visiting the beautiful villages or cities in the area. A truly relaxing place in a stunning location away from the crowds. 

AUGUST 2026

  I just want to let you know that we had a great time during our holiday together with Anne's family! My kids (11 and 14 years) loved the pool and the view from the balcony (and the Wifi). Your house is perfect for relaxing with family and friends. We really recovered and forgot all the stress of evereday life. Lucca is such a nice place to be and we may come back later. We had a great dinner on my birthday in "Antica Osteria". Since cycling is my favorite hobby I have joined several tours planned (in the morning) with help of your suggested Strava routes on your website We also tried canyoning for the first time and loved it. A cooking class in Firenze has also been a pleasure for everyone. Thanks for all, best regards to Denise and Steve and have a great time too. Michael 

AUGUST 2026

  We spent 3 weeks in this lovely house with amazing view! First week we were with 8 persons but with 4 bedrooms & 3 bathrooms, there’s plenty of space for everybody. The kitchen is fully equipped and lots of space to use, the fridge is handy as it’s big. The living room with the little terrace is a bonus, in the morning sitting on the terrace with your first coffee and enjoying the view; a great feeling. We enjoyed every day the pool as we had during the 3 weeks stunning weather. The beds were used by everybody and it’s also handy we could use towels only meant for the pool. We did a really nice walk starting from the house, did a lot of biking in the area (Lucca, Barga, Bagni di Lucca…), the canyon walk is worth the visit it’s beautiful, we did a canyon with wet suites in Bagni di Lucca (Firenze rafting), a visit to Carrara mountains with the marmar … a lot of things to do in the area. Also really nice restaurants in Bagni di Lucca and good ice cream Thanks Maria for the wonderful holiday we had in your house in Guzzano. 

JULY 2026

Everything was completely amazing. The view, the pool, the villa itself. It really was a home from home (actually better than my home!) Maria has thought of every thing you could possibly need. We are a family that love to cook, but even the fact that there were so many pots and pans and utensils amazed us. This holiday was a birthday present to myself and my grown up children, and they said to me is it everything you dreamed of? The answer was yes and more. We were perfectly placed for trips to Florence, Lucca and Pisa, but on the final day went to Lerici beach and Cinque Terre. What a wonderful week, wish we had have had the time to have 2 weeks, but will definitely be back

JULY 2026

 We’ve just sadly left your lovely house after a wonderful family holiday. It really is a fantastic place to stay and I think very likely we’ll be back at some point. Watching the swifts from the balcony was delightful and last night we even saw a deer in the greenery below. The kids (big ones) really enjoyed it too and granddaughter as well as all of us had a lovely time with the pool.

We had a wonderful time at Casa Kennedy. The house is beautiful, inside and out. It really is a lovely house. The location is superb too with lovely views of the Tuscan Hills. I could not fault any aspect of the house or the location, not even the steep climb from Bagni di Lucca which you soon get used to. Bagni Di Lucca is a charming little town, just 10 minutes away in the car and of course you have Lucca, Florence, Forte die Marmi etc. My only tip might be too avoid Florence if you are there in August, it is so crowded, but then if you have not been before... I would thoroughly recommend Casa Kennedy. You would not be disappointed.  

Casa Kennedy is in an idyllic location and provides more than all you need for a get away from it all holiday. The facilities are excellent with all the equipment you need for a great holiday being provided and the local lady who looks after the house was extremely helpful. It was absolutely wonderful to have the benefit of the pool to cool down in under the Tuscan sun whilst later in the day having the benefit of bedrooms in the house which did not require air conditioning. Just close the shutters, open the windows and a good nights sleep in the every comfortable beds is available despite the outside temperature. We were also able to enjoy the great restaurants in Bagna Di Lucca, one of which has gone to the top of our all time favourite holiday restaurant list. Maria was very helpful and responsive during the booking process and provided all the information required in a timely and complete manner. We really enjoyed our time in Casa Kennedy and would not hesitate to go back.
